Scan Pulse — Active

Scan Pulse exposes three shared consumable body weakpoints.

Status: Current. Availability: Referenced by menu and player.

Evidence: statically inspected repository definitions. No new automated gameplay, Editor, network or human acceptance is claimed. See the evidence guide.

Identity: ability:108

Behaviour and interactions

Exposes targets within 18 metres for 6 seconds. Each accepted direct pellet consumes its own point for 3 × (weapon weakpoint multiplier + Precision Core bonus). Recasts extend exposure without refilling/rerolling consumed points; expiry permits a fresh set. Spots can be occluded by body/cover. Ordinary marks do not create these points.

Slot: Active. Menu reference: True; player reference: True.

displayName Scan Pulse
description Reveal three random body weak spots on enemies within 18 m for 6 s. Each disappears after one hit dealing 3× headshot damage; recasts extend exposure without refilling spots. Spots are shared by every player, with random positions around the body; some may be hidden on the far side. Cover and the body block shots. Each accepted direct pellet consumes only its own point. Precision bonuses apply before the three-times-headshot multiplier. Ordinary headshots remain unchanged. Overlapping scans extend the current exposure without rerolling or refilling consumed points; a fresh set appears after expiry. Mark duration bonuses extend exposure; ordinary marks do not reveal spots.
